In Bhutan, move away from any town or city and a trek begins. There are quick treks along botanical parks for beginners, hikes to rural villages and monasteries. For visitors wishing to scale up their expedition, there are treks varying from a couple of days like the Druk Path to those spanning a month or so, like the region’s most challenging, the Snowman trek. These trekking expeditions offer visitors a rare glimpse of the northern communities and their own nomadic traditions and culture. Depending on the interests, abilities and duration of stay of our guests, we can help design appropriate trekking packages.
The cascading glacier-fed rivers from the mountains favour river rafting as they touch the wider valleys of Bumthang, Punakha and Zhemgang. The activity is most suitable around autumn until spring before the monsoons set in.
